Our Bond cleaning service at Maid On Demand Australia is designed to satisfy the Managing Agent and ensure the cleanliness of the property for the release of the tenant’s bond. Here are the inclusions and exclusions of our service:
Bond Cleaning Inclusions (Unfurnished Property)
GENERAL
– Remove cobwebs, insect marks, and small nests (where pest control is not warranted).
– Clean fans, air conditioners, and filters
– Clean light fittings (where safely removable and accessible)
– Spot clean walls, light switches, and power points.
– Clean skirting, architraves, and doors
– Clean drawers, cupboards (inside and outside), doors, tops, and shelving.
– Clean windows on both sides (height and accessibility exclusions apply).
– Vacuum sliding door tracks and clean tracks.
– Clean standard blinds, cords, and rails (spot clean and dust).
– Vacuum all floors and carpets.
– Mop hard floors.
KITCHEN
– Clean inside, outside, and on top of all cupboards, doors, and drawers.
– Clean inside, outside, and around the stovetop, elements, rings, and knobs.
Clean the inside and outside of the oven, griller, doors, trays, racks, glass, and knobs.
– Clean inside, outside, and behind the refrigerator*, dishwasher*, and microwave* space (if applicable).
– Clean and dry sinks, drain holes, and drainers, and polish tapware.

Please note that a furnished property bond clean may require a separate quote due to the additional time and effort involved. Dusting and wiping furniture surfaces, as well as cleaning kitchen cupboards, are included if all items are removed and placed in front of the cupboard. We do not take responsibility for any damage or breakage to cupboard items.
Additionally, please be aware of the following:
– Cleaning behind or around heavy objects or items over 5kg must be moved by the client to allow our cleaners access for cleaning.
– Carpet shampoo cleaning is included, but stain removal is not.
– Speciality services like pest control, pressure cleaning, and upholstery cleaning are available upon request and will be quoted separately.

However, please understand that “normal wear and tear” may prevent us from restoring items to a brand-new condition. We will provide before and after photos of selected items to demonstrate the best possible outcome without specialist intervention.

Bond/Office Cleaning Exclusion Of Maid On Demand
At Maid On Demand, we strive to provide a comprehensive bond and office cleaning service. However, there are certain items and conditions that are excluded from our standard cleaning scope. Please take note of the following exclusions:
Mould
While we make every effort to remove mould from surfaces, certain areas, such as silicon, grout, and other materials, may require specialist intervention to restore them to their original state.
Damp Spots
Damp spots can occur in various areas of the property, particularly affecting drywall plaster. Although we will do our best to remove mould and marks from damp spots, complete eradication may not be possible, and these marks may reappear due to excess moisture.
Complete WALL cleaning
Our standard service includes spot-cleaning walls for insect marks and similar issues. A full wall clean is typically unnecessary unless there are marks that go beyond normal wear and tear.
Discoloration
While we utilise our commercial experience to clean all items, normal wear and tear can lead to discoloration, especially in grout, toilets, and plastics. Unfortunately, these items cannot be restored to their original colour without specialist intervention.
Tile And Natural Rock Stains
Stains on tiles or natural rock surfaces can be challenging to remove completely due to their composition, including porosity. Specialist intervention may be required for effective stain removal.
Ceiling
We do not include ceiling cleaning as part of our standard bond or office cleaning service.
Dangerous Areas
Our cleaners will not operate in areas that pose a danger to their safety. This includes broken or cracked power points or switches, biowaste, rubbish, or any other hazards that may be deemed dangerous.
Heights
Our cleaners are not equipped to clean at heights and will not perform any cleaning tasks that require the use of a ladder. For example, windows in a second-floor apartment complex
Garage Wall
Cleaning of garage walls and floors is not included in our standard service.
Specialist Services
Certain areas may require specialised cleaning equipment, specific chemicals, or trained technicians. Examples of such services include pressure cleaning for grease on garage floors, painting for severely damaged walls, or plastering for holes in walls.
Additional Items
Items such as fridges, furniture, or any other items not listed in the inclusions will not be cleaned unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.
Furnished Property Exclusions (IF APPLICABLE)**
Inside cupboards will not be cleaned if items are not removed by the tenant. We do not clean or warrant all kitchen items that occupy cupboards and drawers.
Furnished Property Decorative Items Exclusions
We do not clean or warrant decorative items such as “nick knacks,” picture frames, vases, lamps, clocks, fruit bowls, linen, and other similar items that may be present in furnished properties.
